I placed an order for curbside pickup in Macon, GA. The app was not working to check in.
I called several times to tell them I was outside. It started to rain. I finally went in, and the hostess said they don't bring orders out in the rain. It would have been okay if the customer knew to come in, so my order just sat there.
The steak I ordered was overcooked and horrible. Needless to say, I would not be going back.

This is a warning for anyone who would eat at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Arden NC, the manager Joseph Bennett is the most unprofessional manager we have ever encountered in all the years we've eaten out, totally obnoxious and doesn't care about customer service or meeting the needs of his customers. Sad part is that this WAS one of our favorite restaurants that we ate at at LEAST 2 to 3X a week.
I have very strict dietary issues from cancer and gluten allergies and our first encounter with this OBNOXIOUS manager was last year at a birthday party we took a friend to. I ordered a dish that you could get the chicken plain no marinade which was safe for me to eat, but it came out with tons of marinade on it, when I sent it back this MANAGER came to our table and proceeded to almost yell at me that "I CAN'T UNMARINATE CHICKEN"... over and over again he said it, in which I responded I KNOW I've had this meal with plain chicken here many many times, it took our server going into the kitchen to get the kitchen manager to educate this MANAGER of the restaurant to tell him that indeed they do have plain UNMARINATED Chicken Tenders! He NEVER apologized!
we stopped going to that restaurant for about a year and finally gave in and returned about six months ago, when we ALWAYS do call ahead, on one of our visits, after doing call ahead the very young inexperienced hostess told my husband that we had NOT done call ahead and it would be aVERY long wait, to which he showed her the text he had gotten on his phone from Longhorn saying to check in when we got there, and I guess since she made a mistake and felt stupid, she went into the bathroom with a couple of waitresses and was crying and telling them how "mean we were for correcting her bc of her mistake" since then we have been a regular customer at least 2 to 3 times a week, sometimes more, and have 2 regular waiters that we tip very very well because of my health issues and we appreciate good service.
Both my husband and I are professional people with a good reputation in this area for 23 years.
So this brings me to today, when we went in for lunch our regular server wasn't available and because we couldn't wait we sat with another server, when I ordered my chicken "plain, no seasoning because of health reasons, she said she would have to go into the kitchen to see if there was any chicken tenders that weren't seasoned because that had marinated all of it for Mothers Day, then she came back saying that they never marinated the tenders, only the chicken breasts, to which we explained that we knew that because I had been ordering that dish for 2 years now and thank you for making sure my order would be correct. When the food came our my chicken was NOT plain it was VERY seasoned and marinated and when I told her that she said NO it's not it's plain, I had tasted my food and knew that she was incorrect, when I very upset by this time as we had waited over 30 minutes for our food, was HUNGRY and running late.
When I went to ask for the manager this Joseph Bennett came over and when I told him what was going on got really NASTY, as usual, and I said that we were leaving and would not return to which he said 'GOOD, YOU ARE RUDE AND HAVE MADE SEVERAL OF OUR SERVERS CRY", which is a total lie! at any rate, we will never return to Longhorn

My Family and I wanted to try out Something Different so We Went to Long horn Steakhouse My First Time Experience was Awful and Embarrassing There was no Working Air conditioner , the Waitress told Us She Was New She Was Extremely Slow. Also, A Fight broke out in the Restaurant where A Child Got Hurt.

Manager failed to send coupon for bad food.
Purchased two lunches to go. 2 -9 oz parmesan chicken with Caesar salads.
The chicken was cooked with some kind of tex mex seasoning. Extremely salty and could not even taste the parmasan cheese! I have had this item before and it was really delicious. These were inedible.
The manager said he was going to send an email for refund. I never received anything. I called and he said wait, it was sent. I called again and he would never get back on the phone.
Mgr John K Sustr per receipt. ID # 5555 01*** *742. My husband also wants to add the Caesar salad and dressing was not even chilled.

I gave the waitress a $250.00 gift card. The bill for the meal was $202.67.
I gave her the $250.00 gift card and she came back with the receipt, saying I only had $6.81 left on the card. The card was never used before. She added a $40.53 tip without telling me. So, I ended up giving her an additional $30.00 in cash for a tip.
That is a $70.00 tip.
My son had the same thing happen to him by the same waitress 3 weeks prior at the same location in the Falls in Miami, Florida. Longhorn just lost 2 customers and will probably lose more if this action continues to happen.

I called about a job posting I saw online for this location (Mt. Dora, Florida) just to follow up and give some first-time introductions.
When the host transferred the phone to Diana, one of the managers, I started introducing myself but was rudely interrupted by her and she said, 'Are you serious? I am in the middle of my dinner shift so I can't talk to you.
Bye.' and she hung up without giving me any chance to respond. I hope this reaches the right person since this was super unprofessional and I hope something changes with her attitude towards people.

My husband and I are regulars at Longhorns in Farmingdale LI.and always enjoy our meal.This wad not the case last Tuesday.We met friends for dinner..ordered drinks..and the waiter asked if we were ready to order.The salad came out before our drinks even got there but not even 5 minutes passed and our entree was on the table...followed by our drinks...I ordered my steak very rare..It was not..I could tell immediately because I know how high the steak is..I cut into it and called the waiter over..He took the steak back and 5 minutes later came back with the same steak..telling me they took its temperature and it was rare..I. could NOT believe they brought the same steak back...which was now cold..I asked for the manager and he told me that they often bring the same piece of meat back...I could understand if I wanted it done more but I never heard of making a piece of meat rarer..The waiter then got me a new steak but by this time everyone else was done...I did not enjoy my experience at. all The waiter actually was annoyed at my situation

Grotesque. You'll find your'self considering location being amongst top five most foul locations you had the misfortune of dining in your entire life and just not go there because if you do, you'll regret yourself experience will be classified wish-ya-had'nt-of-eaten-there regretables.
Call it a wallow in a pig sty preferable. Place is clueless being concentrated disgusting to repulsive considered normal establishment conditions existing the West Springfield, MA LongHorn Restaurant. The entire place probable doesn't pass inspection. Lazy attendants.
Unkempt uniforms. Disturbing lack of enthusiasm existed. No dignity. No regard for appearance.
Lazy standards. Quality?? Nonexistence. None.
Eat anywhere else is my recommendation. If you do eat there, don't look around. Don't critique the place...do not expect cleanliness, do not lose anything in the cracks of your booth seats, do don't touch anything...do not expect five starr.do not expect decently dressed customers...absolutely expect a dirt bag deep dive hellhole.
If you do eat there recommend keeping your eyes closed prudence would dictate bringing a vomit bag. Should you need to use the lavatory, be prepared to wish you'd because you'll regret yourself instantly once you get close to the toilet you'll lose your stomach contents...will have better cleanliness conditions in a manure gutter.
Sorry...being polite right now because I'm highly distressed at the most nauseating conditions I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing and do not want to embarrass myself being colorful wording CUZ right this minute I feel like blowing a gasket and felt like going off.

I ate at Longhorn in Tifton, GA, and the service spilt a drink on my table. It spilled all over my shirt.
I asked for napkins to clean myself off. She came back and threw some paper towel on the table. Still, no straws, still, no 'hey, how y'all doing?' So, she came back to take my order, and I asked if she was expecting me to clean up the mess she made. She rolled her eyes and continued taking my order.
When I talked to the manager, her exact words were, 'She's new, she didn't mean to spill it.
We're short on servers, she thought you were going to clean it up.' I said, 'Ma'am, being short staffed and her being new has nothing to do with her cleaning up her mess and being a rude server.' The manager, Brandy, said, 'Well, we ain't got no help,' and walked off. Not to mention I been here a lil over 30 mins and still havent received my appetizer

My office is about 6 minutes away from the local LH. We have ordered about 3 times a month over the past 6 months.
The past four times we have ordered a minimum of 4 bacon burgers, and each one was made without the bacon. We called just to let them know and got the 'we are sorry.' Next time we ordered, the food was delivered to the vehicle 9 minutes after we were told to be there and had been checked in, and all the food was cold. We did complain and received a $25 gift card. Much appreciated, so we gave them another try and ordered 4 bacon burgers; not one had bacon.
I called and was told the manager was busy with another customer, but they took my name, phone number for a return call, and email address for a gift card, and 5 days later I am still waiting for that call and acknowledgment of the kitchen mix-up. At this point, it's principal. We are paying good money for our specific food and not receiving what we are ordering.
It's not brain surgery; it's lunch. If they are this consistent with wrong preparation with our orders, how often are mistakes made with your average consumer?

My family went for an early dinner on April 18, 2025 at the Longhorn at 3121 So. Glenstone in Springfield, MO.
The server (Ellie A.) was very rude and impatient when asked 1 question about the salad dressings. She did not offer any steak sauce or other condiments after receiving our orders. We flagged the manager who was quickly passing by and we sensed a bad attitude about having to retrieve some ketchup for our french fries. It had been several months since we last ate here and we were shocked how HIGH the menu prices are compared to other steakhouses.
Ellie, the server, was only kind when it came time to pay the check.
We gave her a 12% tip which she did not deserve (we normally tip a GOOD server between 20% & 30%). We will definitely not be back!

Manager Abagail Baker at Longhorn in Flowood, Ms was very unprofessional, provocative, and rude to me and my family as we went there to celebrate after graduation.
I am a frequent guest at longhorn and never have I ever experienced terrible customer service as such. She side eyed us from the moment we walked in and refused to give me a high chair for my son.
I asked questions as to why I wasn't able to receive a high chair and she begun to clap in our faces telling me and my family that those where her rules. She proceeded to take our menus and tell us to leave.
She called the police on us, yet the police were on our side. Madison police department agreed that as a manager she was totally in the wrong.

No problem I just wanted to say longhorn in Southington Ct is the best great place!! Everyone should eat at longhorn clean service is e is great the desserts are great fast sitting staff smiling steaks are great comfortable sitting soups great salads delicious theI cheesecake is remarkable

A hostess is not going to go cry in the bathroom and have to be comforted by 2 co-workers, all because a customer politely pointed out to them they had indeed used call ahead seating and were on the list. No, you must have acted aggressive, loud and scared the poor girl.
