Terrible customer service at the Longhorn in dover, de.
Two young black girls were making fun of our family when we walked in and were told we had 15 minutes to wait. They seemed unapologetic for laughing at us.
When I explained they might lose business because of this, they said okay. Fix your service, people.

Just wanted you to be aware that we recently ate at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Florence, South Carolina, and the pictures on the wall are so dusty and filthy. It's disgusting!
So, we'll probably never go back there. Just wanted you to know I have pictures.
Preferred solution: Keep the restaurant clean!

I ordered the chicken tenders. I did not receive any honey mustard to go with my order.
I had a sweet potato and bread. I was given half of a container of butter when I asked for extra butter.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Birthday Dinner Experience [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA], [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA]
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the experience my family and I had at the [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA] location in [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA], [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA] during my birthday dinner celebration on [DATE_OF_BIRTH], at approximately 10:00 PM.
What should have been a special evening spent celebrating with family turned into one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I have ever encountered.
After being seated, we waited approximately 15 minutes before a server greeted our table. Once she arrived, we were already prepared to place our orders. Shortly after taking them, she returned to inform us that the restaurant was out of both salmon and sweet potatoes. While I understand that shortages can happen, I was surprised when she explained that weekends are busy and that Mondays are the worst days to come in. As a customer, hearing an employee discourage patrons from visiting the restaurant was both unprofessional and disappointing.
Despite this, we chose to stay and hoped the experience would improve.
Unfortunately, it only got worse.
Our salads arrived first, and the croutons had an extremely unpleasant taste. We immediately notified our server and sent them back. The server later returned and informed us that staff members had tasted the croutons themselves and agreed that they tasted terrible. This was alarming and raised concerns about food quality and quality control.
When our entrees arrived, several orders were incorrect:
* My sister specifically requested all flats but received a combination of flats and drumsticks.
* My niece ordered a steak cooked medium well, but it arrived overcooked, dry, and well done.
* After sending the steak back, it returned undercooked with blood visibly running from it.
* Due to high blood pressure, I specifically requested fries without seasoning. Instead, my fries were placed on my niece's plate, while her seasoned fries were placed on mine.
At that point, we requested to speak with a manager.
The manager, identified as Ms. Tee or [PERSON_NAME], approached our table in a manner that appeared dismissive and unconcerned. Before addressing our concerns, she stopped to check on another table that had not requested management assistance. When she finally came to our table, she avoided eye contact, continuously focused on her watch, and appeared more interested in that than listening to customers who were actively expressing concerns about their dining experience.
The only resolution offered was the removal of my niece's steak from the bill, despite the numerous service failures, food quality concerns, and order inaccuracies that occurred throughout the evening.
After I informed our server that I was dissatisfied with the customer service and intended to contact corporate, the manager returned to explain that she had been looking at her watch because certain wrist movements could trigger an alert that would summon police. Regardless of the explanation, her demeanor throughout our interaction was rude, disengaged, and lacking the professionalism one would expect from someone in a leadership position.
What disappointed me most was not that mistakes occurred. Mistakes happen in every restaurant. What was unacceptable was the lack of urgency, accountability, empathy, and customer care shown when those mistakes were brought to management's attention.
I selected LongHorn Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday with my family. Instead, we left frustrated, disappointed, and feeling as though our concerns did not matter. A birthday celebration should never leave guests feeling this way.
I do not have my receipt, as it was inadvertently left on the table, but I am confident your records will reflect our visit on June 1, 2026, at approximately 10:00 PM, along with the manager interaction and adjustments made to the check.
I would appreciate a response regarding how this matter will be addressed. Based on this experience, I am extremely reluctant to visit this location or any [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA] again.
Sincerely,
[PERSON_NAME]

- - Service was ignored; we were never checked on, and we had to pay ourselves.
- - Another server helped; we tipped them; we will not return.
My wife and I went there tonight, and usually, the service is excellent. But tonight, whoever our server was was a sad excuse for a human.
We were totally ignored the whole time. Never asked if we needed anything. Had to pay on our own, had to walk to the bar and get A1 myself after I told her, had to share our water because she never came, and then finally passed by and said, 'Y'all need something?' Yes, to-go boxes left and never came back! We had to ask another server named Sarah Grace.
She got our things, so we gave her the tip. Our server's name was Marlique or something. They said they were told to call her G. We waited for a manager, but she was busy.
I've never seen this much of a bad attitude on a server in my life. You will lose more customers! She was very rude, and we were too scared to even ask for her because of her attitude due to her cursing at the bar and saying she's about to smack someone. This was Lafayette Ambassador location.
We will not be returning, and I'm sure others have been convinced the same!
She's black, and we are too; we watched her several times pass us up and go grin in white families' faces, which made us even more aggravated. She should not work with the public at all!
- Good food
- Bad server

Verified Reviewer |Hello my name is Bradley Hickey. My...
- - Called ahead for 11; wait times grew to 1h20m with no clear reason.
- - Seating split into two booths; not enough room; staff rude; manager late.
Hello, my name is Bradley Hickey. My wife and I got married on July 10th and decided to celebrate with our family at Longhorn Steakhouse afterwards.
So we called the location on Southport Rd in Indianapolis, IN, to let them know we were coming with a party of eleven. They said that it wasn't a problem but that there would be a 30-min wait. When we got there, we waited 30 mins, then we were told it would be another 30 mins but didn't give us a reason. Finally, after waiting one hour and 20 minutes, we were told that they had a table open for us.
It ended up being two booths that were next to each other. We told them that we were celebrating our wedding and that we would like to sit together with our family and that there wasn't even enough room for all of us to fit. The young lady was very rude and told us that it was the best she could do for us. So we tried to compromise and asked if we could use the third booth that was open so we could at least have room to enjoy our dinner.
Very rudely, she told us that the open booth was closed. So I asked for the manager, and after 15 more minutes of us standing there waiting for the manager, it was very clear that our celebration and our time meant absolutely nothing to them.
So we decided to leave, but not before the young lady had the audacity to say, 'Thanks for wasting our time.' With that being said, my wife and I actually enjoy your restaurant as we have been there many times. So please tell your employees that they are out of line and to do better.
Terrible
Today I placed a to-go order from this *** location, something Ive done many times before. This time, however, I never received the text notification that my order was ready, so I went inside to check on it.
After waiting about seven minutes because no one was at the takeout counter, I finally received my order.
Once I got to my car, I realized my fries had been packaged in the same container as my steak. The steam from the steak made the fries wet and soggy. I went back inside and asked to speak with a manager. I explained the issue, and instead of trying to resolve it, *** responded, Thats how we always do it.
I told him that *** ordered from this location many times and that my rice is usually packaged with the steak, which is fine, but the fries should not be packaged that way because they become soggy.
Rather than offering to replace the *** argued with me. At that point, I asked him to simply refund my order. He took my information and disappeared into the back. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, he briefly returned to ask for my email address, then left again without providing any update.
Eventually, I had to ask another employee to get him because I still hadnt received any confirmation. When he finally came back, he simply said the refund should appear within seven days.
The issue wasnt just the soggy friesit was the lack of customer service. Mistakes happen, but the way they are handled makes all the difference. *** was dismissive, argumentative, and showed very little hospitality.
This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a ***. I used to enjoy ordering from this location, but after this experience, I will not be returning.

In short summary:
Long story short the establishment was empty with patrons we were a group of of 7 African Americans that was told we had to wait about 10 mins before seating. There were maybe 2 couples seated in the whole establishment.
We were celebrating Juneteenth was wearing tee shirts to celebrate the day.
Because of the tee shirts we were bluntly singled out because of race. The looks, the service, etc was just uncomfortable and unacceptable coming from an establishment we patronized for over 2 decades.
I came into the longhorn steakhouse...
- - The hostess offered to fetch the manager, but no one came out.
- - Others peeked from the kitchen while I waited.
- - I felt discriminated and left.
I came into the longhorn steakhouse restaurant in wixom mi for an interview for a hostess. The hostess said she would get the manager.
While i waited for the manager everyone kep looking out from the kitchen area at me multiple times the manager stood at the kithen door with the clip board in her hand then went into the kitchen area. She refused to give me my interview by not coming out. Meanwhile everyone else kept peeking out looking at me. So i left.
This is discrimination against mefor my looks. Everyone was was mean accept the host she was nice. I will never eat at that restaurant. And am considering not eating at any of you restaurants for the rude treatment.
None of my family or friends will eat at you chain of restaurants either. Thank you for nothing.
User's recommendation: Don't go to wixom longhorn steakhouse they judge you on you looks.

- - Employees park in upfront spaces, blocking customer parking.
- - Manager said it would be addressed; customer will return hoping for improvement.
Your employees are all parking in the upfront parking spaces instead of the Publix parking lot at your *** location. I work close by and can never get a parking space up front, so I stopped ordering to go.
But today, as I was on vacation, I went there for lunch, and 8 parking spaces all out front had cars and trucks backed into the parking spaces. I had to park and walk from the Publix parking lot. I was there for one hour, and when I came out, the same cars and trucks were still there. This is so unfair and inconvenient for us patrons.
Your employees need to park and walk and leave the parking spaces all out front for me and other customers. I got the manager and had him come out front; he said he would address it. When I walked to my car, I saw a lady get into her car. I asked her if she just ate at ***.
She said yes, so I told her what I am telling you. She told me I should contact corporate.
I will be coming back next week; I hope I see an improvement. It was 11:45; no parking!

- - Order wrong; a whole steak left out.
- - Steaks not cooked to desired doneness.
- - Total was $162.81; a $25 gift card offered; staff rude.
I spot a $162.81. The order was completely wrong.
They left out a whole steak on an order. None of the stakes were cooked to the choice of the customer after spending a $162. They only sent me a gift card for $25. Not very Larry.
This fight at all. Try to call the restaurant and talk to them they were very rude and said I was being abusive.
They told me to call corporate was unable to get ahold of corporate, not satisfied at all. And to be honest, the way the staff was when I called.I'm scared to spend the twenty five dollar gift card with long horn steakhouse
Bad customer service, your greeter and your kitchen supervisor
- - Denied service and told to sit at the bar though I don't drink.
- - The kitchen supervisor gave me a hard time about seating for one.
The host at Longhorn Steakhouse in Pooler, Georgia, denied me service. They tried to get me to sit at the bar, and I don't drink, so I asked for the supervisor.
She was the kitchen supervisor, and she also gave me a hard time about what I wanted to do. I asked to be seated for two, but the other party hadn't shown up yet.
So I told her to seat me for one because I'm on my lunch and I can't wait for the other person. They started giving me *** because I said I waited to be seated for one.

My birthday was yesterday, 7/16. I invited my son and his girlfriend.
When I asked the waitress to keep in mind my 10% discount as a senior citizen, the manager denied it.
Even though I mentioned it was advertised on the website, he said the company canceled it starting Jan of this year. Bad experience on my birthday.

When asked if there was a manager, they replied yes but he was in a meeting.
We asked if there was an assistant manager, but he was also in the meeting. We tried calling the corporate customer service, but it was after their work hours.
